Very ouch ..... Matt gets them and when at their worst, he looks like he is in labour. Lithotripsy has sorted them for the moment though (touch wood).

I'm waiting for an appointment for a scan to see what's what. Hopefully it can be sorted soon so I can be back in action.

I'm feeling decidedly un-horny right now!

Lol, yes being in agony can have that effect. Good luck and hope they sort them out.

It's probably just that I'm in pain, but I don't get that at all.

Plenty of water. Check for foods high in oxalates

Thanks. I'm drinking water by the bucketful.

Shares in Severn Trent Water will be going up at this rate.

Thanks for the continued support.

I've been passing them but they soon come back which is why I've been referred for a scan.

Hopefully I can get rid of them permanently as they don't half hamper one's sex life.

You may have to change your diet drastically because if you are prone, they normally come back. If you manage to catch one, they can test which sort it is, so you know which foods to either eat or avoid. Plus as already mentioned, drink lots of water.

Innuendo had stones in each kidney. One was about 6mm and was broken up with ultrasound which DID hurt! and the other was the size of a marble and had to be operated on. The very large one took up just about all of the space in her kidney and nearly destroyed it but luckily, all is well now..

Hope yours is sorted out soon...

And for information... Our son got stones and he went into hospital one evening. The nurse on duty said to him that if any woman says he doesn't understand pain, he should tell her he had kidney stones which are more painful than childbirth!
