I'm in a bad mood today.
I work away from home, but have all official correspondence (Council Tax, bank statements, utilities etc all sent to my work address where I live-in. As I've been registered at a local GP surgery for 3.5 years, all medical letters get sent to same address.
I was due surgery by end of Feb. Despite the hospital previously sending a letter to regular addy in Warwick, some numpty sent it to my home addy up north, where I haven't been home since Nov.
Since I didn't confirm that letter, which was a surgery date (now past!) they assumed I didn't want the OP, cancelled my file, and I'm now at back of the queue and have to start all over again.
They had my email addy plus Mobile phone No, but no-one thought to cross check via them!
I've threatened hell and high water today after over 2 hours on the phone. They're now investigating! |
