Discuss the realistic story lines

Linda pours a bottle of gin/something down the kitchen sink. When she lives above a pub.

west here ford shire

Gave up watching soaps, totally ridiculous story lines

After all everyone is either a gangster a murderer, can’t find a wife or girlfriend unless they live within a two min walk of their gaff..

What tripe

Karen bathes in a bath of homemade gin.

Her sense of smell gone?

Wouldn't you just top n tail using the sink with kettle heated water, if the boiler has gone on the blink?

And everybody loves this gin that must contain shower gel and stuff

On the rare occasions that my tv is "initialising" before I can switch it over, I heave a sigh of relief when it's gone!

I think soaps make you grateful for the life you are leading, compared to "theirs"!!

Den of Iniquity

Its unrealistic enough that Danny Dyer hasn't swore in 7 years , not once .

But that's good as I never swear either

It's a programme you can watch and be on your phone at the same time

He's such a fantastic actor. In everything I've seen him in he plays Danny Dyer with a different name

Eastenders is the only soap i watch..

I like it as it transports me to a place where everybody's lives are 10 times worse than mine could ever be!

Having said that it continues to deal with harrowing storylines, which often highlight and mirror what's happening in the world around us such as stabbing, depression, anxiety, suicide, alcoholism and cancer... yes, some storylines are fairly ridiculous but a lot of good comes from throwing a spotlight on how people deal with those other issues in a sensitive way

The younger men only ever drink spirits straight it seems. And it never burns.
