A friend challenged me to post a pic of me au naturel.
So here you go: raw lighting, no filter, no clever pose or camera angle, no tensing any part of me.
Just me and the worst ‘look at me’ thread ever.
So what do you think: are my usual pictures a misrepresentation of who I am? |

I think we all post photos that we think show us at our best.
After all we want to attract people. I don't see anything wrong in that.
Though I do think everyone should have at least one brutally honest photo available, to show potential meets. |

Not at all, your pics are open to artistic interpretation, depth and hues all add to the meaning of what you are trying to convey in your pics, profiles are portfolios and we tend to show what we want others to see. Good on you for stepping outside of your comfortable zone |

It feels weirdly 'naked' being un black and white in pics, the filters add a bit of a protective barrier still to vulnerability.
You still look great no fear |

Naturally gorgeous OP.
I have a few unfiltered in my pics.
Only when we meet though do we ever get the real deal. Cameras seem to filter out details even without us messing with pics. For the full natural experience we have to engage all the senses. Something to look forward to with people we first meet with online.
I like the not knowing the full picture.
Seeing skin, flaws, movement, sound, smell, sensing character and revealing the level of connection for the first time is alluring ... and also brings a vulnerability. |

Indeed.
Though your honest, natural photo is much better than most |

It’s a really good pic, very natural.
I went through a similar feeling posting my first video today. Filters off doing something I do every day. I felt quite vulnerable. |

I love yours.
And LolaDaisy just posted a superb one too.
In both cases, ultra feminine pictures with no artifices. I’m a big fan. |

"I hope we never meet. I don't think my pride could handle being in the same room as you
"
Oh! That’s disappointing, I want to share a beer or two. And I’m quite low key. I’m the discreet one at socials, hiding in the corner. Almost unnoticeable. Certainly not a casting a shadow. |
