I trade in vinyl via an Ebay shop and I'd have happily offered you £100 for it Your parents were right about Pet Sounds though but it was Revolver that influenced Brian Jones to make Pet Sounds so I guess it all started there. Pet Sounds is still my favourite album of all time. | |||

A dear friend of my parents back in the sixties. He brought them a white label copy a few weeks before it was released, it had George Martin's handwriting on one of the sleeves. Me being me I was far more thrilled that while he was recording the album for them my idols were next door recording Piper at the Gates of Dawn but I still regard Sgt Pepper as one of the most important albums ever recorded and I still love listening to it. Oh my god, does that white label still exist? It'll be worth an absolute fortune! Do NOT get me started. They sold it at Christie's in the 90s.
