Do you ever find yourself just looking at things and find some tune in a movie or ad or video game that it makes you pause and wonder who or what is that. Recently i was watching the trailer for hellblade 2 and there was... A chant in it i was like wow thats crazy what is it? So i searched and searched then found out the name of the group responsible for it is called Heilung. They're kinda like folk music but self described as amplified history... Anyway the song is titled in maidjan... Such a strange trance like tune.. And so is their other stuff.. And that woman in the group has such an incredible voice.. And the guys sound kinda like they are doing that mongolian style throat singing... I thought id share this musical find.. Tell me... Are there other not so common bands or groups you listen to...  |

I'm forever hearing music on TV or films, or even out and about, that catches my ear and I wonder what it is - a lot of the time Shazam is my friend or if I can catch a line or two of the lyrics Google them.
I think the last song I bought having done that was Gang Of Youths "Let Me Down Easy"
My go to recommendation of relatively unknown bands though is The Simmertones - a ska band from the SW who are sublime |
