Why do you go for the age range you do?
For me. Anyone young enough for me to be their mother is out, so is the age range of anyone that would be most suited to my eldest child.
And anyone old enough to be my parent.

Had to check what I'd put but 10 yrs younger and a year older.... not too old as I'm cracking on myself but i look and act younger and hopefully we should have things other than sex in common |

I have quite a large age range. I've found over the years that I'm attracted to different people for different reasons and don't like ruling people out. It's more a guideline for me anyway rather than set in stone. |

I keep my age range relatively broad to count for the outliers and I've certainly met a few. I'm rarely interested in anyone younger than me but I have mine set to two years younger as there are always exceptions. I'm also not comfortable if I genuinely felt like someone could be my parent or even could potentially date one of my parents in the future (that would be too weird!). My upper limit is currently set to 45 so someone in the top end of that could technically be my parent if they were a teenage parent but as long as it doesn't obviously feel as though they could be it's fine so it depends on the person. |

I don't really care about the age. I've found girls in their 20s very mature and interesting but equally older women, mid 50s I'm finding extremely attractive. It's really about the individual for me |

My age range was set at 45-55, I have met older but very rarely met younger, I feel more comfortable with someone around my age so we can talk about Choppers and buying fags for 50p with a note from ya mam  |

A question for those of you older than myself. Why do men 10+ years older than me have their range include women my age, whereas most women of similar age don’t include men my age? |

Has to be my age or older really. I need to feel mentored, and older is wiser obvs
I may change my mind one day, all that energy in the yoof I could harness. |

I'm way out of nearly every woman's age criteria.
Makes me feel sad sometimes, that my life is slowly shutting down on here, but still have some nice banter with some really nice people. |

Anyone younger than my eldest nephew is a usually no go for me...tho there have been one or two exceptions (there's only 6 years between us). And it's super rare I'm attracted to anyone much older than 50.
Our age limits are more loose guidelines tho tbh. If we fancy someone it's usually got feck all to to with their date of birth

We don’t have age restrictions on our profile (we don’t have any restrictions). People define themselves by their conduct, and that’s all that matters for us. One of the most respectful men we ever talked to was half our age. One of the most immature women we ever spoke to was a little older than us. It just depends on the individual. |

Generally it's about +/- 10 to 15 years for play, but I love the social side and talking with people so will meet most people in a 100% social only context. |

That's made me think about my age range, socials are different and I hadn't thought about that side so much. Mine are set to keep messages down though |

I try to keep my age range to a range I assume I'll find attractive. I've had to review upwards a couple of times because I've found those 50 something women to be both hot and insatiable.
I've excluded younger women because I've been fucked about by them a lot on here in the past. |

I thought my small age range would mean I’d have less messages, more in common to chat about, similar life experiences...but I keep finding out the people contacting me are younger or older but lying about their age  |

Very much so, sometimes that spark comes from unexpected places. I could be chatted as friend and over time start to realise I'm really attracted to her or conversely hit on someone I think is wow and come to that meh point lol |
