Mr here uses:
Bose SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones II
Bit pricey at £150 on Amazon, but had them for three years with no trouble.
Slightly clumpy, but ideal for long cardio sessions. Fine for weights too if you’re not getting into weird and whacky positions. |

Use headphones now, find the earphones keep dropping out.
B&M have a good pair of Goodman wireless ones for £15, wasn't expecting much but they're actually brilliant. |

got headphones because the in ear ones drive me nuts. got some decent ones for about 50 quid in currys and never had a bother with them and they are used at least five days a week and sometimes at night time when the kids are in bed and im having a private disco in my sitting room lol |

Bose soundsport are good I have a pair but they need to be charged each visit. I just use my Bose QC35 in the gym , on a plane, train, in bed pretty much everywhere except a run outside I love the noise cancelling and wireless and long charge.
If you go small just check how long the charge lasts |

Why pay more? I suppose wireless could be good, but they're over ear, not in ear, you're not left listen to yourself swallow. Just done a 40km bike ride with them."
I just can't deal with a cable anymore, it's an extra point of failure. |

Another vote for these! Have never come loose and fallen out, sound scape is decent for buds too! |

Tronsmart spunky beat very very good. Have up to 7 hours battery on 1 charge.

Apart from that, maybe haylou or Xiaomi airdots. |

I find the in-ear type that have a 'hook' that goes around the ear, helping keep them in, are quite good. Sennheiser make some like this - I also find it's worth experimenting with the different sizes of buds that come with some pairs. I usually end up damaging the cable somehow, the only reason I keep having to replace them!

I've got a pair of these for the gym too. They cost bugger all on Amazon and work perfectly well. Not "audiophile" quality, but who needs perfect pin drop clarity sound reproduction when you're huffing and wheezing and surrounded by loud grunters and clowns dropping their weights from shoulder height to announce to the world how tough they are?
The battery lasts all week, they block out the awful house music, and there's no cables getting tangled on equipment. That'll do me fine. |
