I'm not sure how you being "too nice" would have caused that. I wouldn't worry, on to the next one

Yup. I’ve had this. Actually went on to do a veri and noticed I was blocked, unblocked month or so later and he’s asking for round 2 hmmm let me think about that

What is being "too nice" mean?

He was horny, you scratched an itch, got home and he probably felt ashamed...we'll never know.

Block him and forget him.

On to the next one hey!

That's not true, he simply doesn't have to publish it. You're getting confused with blocking someone so that your veri to them doesn't show.

Has happened to me once, great meet and I did her a great veri but she refused to do one in return stating she didn't want others to know who she's met ?. Looking back the whole thing was a little off, she was utterly false and I was left feeling used in some way.

We only have one side of the story, he might have seen things very differently and have what he considers a perfectly good reason for blocking her. Bit harsh to judge him just on one person's account of things.

Comes back to if a guy posted something similar, the responses would be oh so different

You have no idea what happened when they met, immediately after they met, what the op put in his verification, or his reasons for blocking though.

And even if he was an utter dick and had no good reason for his behaviour, how does that reflect on any other man?

I'm taking the comment 'the meet went very well' to mean it went beyond a social Pepsi (Maybe it didnt).

If it did, I'm just saying the op was treated pretty poorly by whoever it was she met.

And by association, it's not the way I'd treat someone I'd been intimate with, and i wouldn't want every guy tarred with the same brush - me included.

That's only her interpretation though. And only an idiot would assume because one man does something all men will do the same, so I wouldn't worry about those folk

You don't need to get as far as their profile page. Once you get to the bit where it says you've been blocked, click on the top right button and you can block from there.
