So, a man messaged me, sent a photo, I don’t fancy him so replied “thanks for the message, I’m not physically attracted to you but happy fabbing”
Then I get the response “don’t judge a book by its cover”
I am on this site to meet people for sex, I absolutely have to be physically attracted to someone to sleep with them, if someone sends a photo and I don’t fancy them, then it’s absolutely not going to work in the bedroom.
They could have the best personality ever and I get that however I have to have that initial attraction.
It one of the tamest replies I’ve had to “thanks but no thanks” I guess so should be thankful for that. |

I completely agree. Personality is very important to me but there needs to be physical attraction in the first instance. People can be really rude and accuse you of being reslly shallow if you state your preferences.
If attraction wasn't ah issue then we would all be fucking 90 year olds!  |

The thing is, I used to reply to everyone and would get some shit responses back, then I stopped and still got shit so you just can’t win.
From now on I think I’ll just block, which is a shame as we are all adults and should be able to handle a “no thanks”, I wouldn’t dream of sending a crap message to someone who said no thanks.....you accept you aren’t their type and you move on. |

Exactly, and whilst personality is important the chances of me getting to know someone’s personality is greatly increased if I have that attraction in the first place.

Depending on the profile.. But can you really base it on the pixels?
I've seen ladies in the forums who are not my type and I havent felt an initial attraction towards them, But now I fancy them. |

Problem with a lot of men's face pics is they look like them mugshot pics taken at the police station just after they've been arrested for kerb crawling. I always prefer to receive a variety of 3 or 4 face pics that show the personality of the man. Helps if they are bloody smiling too! |

It’s just a response that shows they have not wanted to listen to what you are saying. Sure, personality can grow towards attraction for some, but that isn’t what you said.
Frankly it’s just embarrassing, why people wish to argue their case rather than gracefully accept the answer. You don’t need thick skin either as someone said, a response on an internet based site shouldn’t change your self-perception, if you have received an honest and fair response. |

To the guy talking about sapiosexuals I consider myself to be one as I find intelligence highly attractive but there still needs to be physical attraction for sex to happen.
I actually turned down a bit I am or was very physically attracted to. He mainly seems to meet women who get on page 1 who are far more attractive than myself and he seems to have amazing veris but he comes across as a complete twat.
He keeps deleting and returning and asks to meet every time he rejoins He's clearly stumped that someone like myself would dare to reject him when he fucks the A list of fab. 
Anyway the point veing I wouldn't meet someone solely in looks but I don't want to have sex with people i'm not turned on by.

I've just commented about this on another thread. In a nutshell I once had sex with a curvy girl which I'm not attracted too as I like slim and went on to have the best sex I ever had. Not judging a book by it's cover is a fair point as you could be too hasty and be missing out. |

I would probably do so much better at a social as people say I'm lovely in person but i'm very much disliked and put people off on here.
