It's not happened before but maybe I've not been intersted in their profile and then we meet at a group social and we get on like a house on fire. Peoples profiles aren't always the best reflection of them, the only true way to know someone is to meet them. |

I blocked a couple then unblocked them when I saw what they said in the forum. I think I must have gotten the wrong end of the stick on something they wrote maybe. I don’t actually recall why I blocked them. I mainly block men cos many are just stupid and it shows in their one chance message to me. |

A couple of times I've thought someone has been the very opposite of what we're looking for but over time it's become clear that they actually fit very well. It's usually to do with consistency, lack of sychophancy and a willingness to disagree with an opinion in a respectful way. I very much admire those traits |

Maybe if I had thought that way about a post someone had made, that I disagreed with. Then having met them in person at a social maybe and had the opportunity to talk properly, then it could be a possibility. It is easy to misconstrue someone in a message, however someone mean spirited is a different story, I can't abide that. |
