I disagree, is farther you told the truth, politely.
I tried some clothes on a couple of weeks ago and the changing room attendant was a young man. I put one dress on and he said "that one, looks amazing, the last was OK, but that's great"
Made me happy, his honesty was refreshing. |

*facepalm* I'm permanently single and incapable of getting laid, and even I know better than that... |

She asked. Her huff is her cross to bear. |

Depends on who you are shopping with. I would expect a 'friend' not to let me walk out with something that didn't suit me for any reason. I would see it as an act of friendship if they were honest and said it was too long, short, tight, wrong colour. |

Depends how you say it I guess.
To say ‘maybe the next size up would sit better’ is one thing, but to say ‘you look like bread baking in twine’ is deffo not ok.
I have had both these said to me the second one was in jest by a friend. And she wasn’t wrong |

Rookie error there ..the answer you were looking for was " nah doesn't quite sit right " let her then decide if she's going to try a different size to see if it "sits" better ...you're welcome |
