From midday on a Saturday to 6pm on a Sunday of total freedom, no kids, no plans, no one to see, what would you do with the time and freedom?
You cannot answer with spending time with a lover/sex meet/social or anything fab related. |

Great question
I would go to my rock on top of the big hill. I would watch the world go buy, reflect, read and do my gratitudes.
I love the inner peace you get from feeling that you have stepped off the world for a short while. |

My reply would have been very different a few days ago.
But currently, it would be sitting in front of the fire, with a good book, plenty of pain relief, early night, and same (i.e. chilling in front of the fire with a book) on Sunday.

Northampton Somewhere |
This happens so rarely for me.
Long walk after lunch on Saturday.
I'd have my girlie friends round Saturday evening and cook for them.
Lay in on Sunday, go to the gym and then relax with a book for the rest of the time |

"Shopping, day out in London...
I’d jump on the Eurostar and have a little overnight trip to Paris.
Something like that is never going to happen lol "
I'm liking the eurostar Paris option! |

I would have ran up my favourite mountain in North Wales, stopped at a lake for a snack and some hot soup then back down, happily exhausted. I then, would have enjoyed a long bath to soothe my muscles and a yummy dinner with a glass or two of wine. On the Sunday I would have gone for a long walk in the woods, followed by a pub lunch and a long nap!

If you have company I would go for a walk around the town first and stop for coffee and a bit of lunch then look to see if theres anything on worth watching at the movies or theatre etc maybe some drinks and dancing afterwards then sleep in sunday. If the weather holds out then go for a nice walk and come back and chill till the nippers come home.
If you are on your Todd then maybe a massage or spa treatment and buy a book or rent a good movie and pic up a bottle of something and come home and settle in for the evening. Then sunday go for a nice country drive and stop for a lunch somewhere before heading home and preparing for the return of the munchkins |

I do actually have that.
I'm using it to study. Because I am very sensible. And will obviously not go proper off-the-rails and be covered in cookie crumbs and blankets while watching Netflix trash by 8pm. |

I have this freedom alternate weekends, not every time is totally clear though.
In the summer I can picture myself just buggering off to the coast and doing a lot of walking. But I'm thinking about what else I can do and how far I can go in the time.
I've had a few of just catching up with life stuff or chilling out completely in the warm but I'm now getting to a pount of wanting spring to come and getting out more. |

Wrap up warm and go for a walk along the river Thames, towards Sonning. With a large latter in hand. Taking some photos. The lighting is great today.
Take some photos of a grave yard and church I’ve been meaning to return to.
Then back home for a long soak in a bubble bath while reading a book |

If I wasn't seeing my friends I'd easily drive to the coast on a warm day, I'd then walk everywhere I could and take in the views and points of interest and enjoy some good food.
Or I'd push myself to go further out of my comfort zones and do something new that I haven't done before. And the options are endless on that. |

Theres a beach on the Atlantic Coast, wide open space sand that shimmers in the sun turquoise waves lapping gently, miles long, usually deserted, even in the summer. A perfect place to walk, or just sit and be, watching the day go by....
The evening a country pub, log fire, smokey bar full of life, seat in a quiet corner listening to live music and gazing on the setting sun as the night turns black...
