Is there an increase in it or an increase in the media reporting it.... We are connected now more than ever before through the internet and 24hr news channels

Not an increase, but an increase in reporting and factual availability to the masses |

Drug addiction . Desperation. Gang culture.
Most armed robberies don't involve guns... and are crackheads robbing a local shop/bookies with a knife etc. |

i know someone who has done time for this and he said it becomes an addiction, he got to a point when he didn't need the money but still went out and done it, he has changed his life around now like but he said it was purely down too his age and the fact he didn't want to die in jail |
