Yes it’s normal, what you describe isn’t specific to a flu jab, it’s about a jab in general.
I get an annual flu jab, sometimes it is still tender a couple of days later, sometimes It’s not. I think it’s about the skill of the individual performing the injection.
If it’s still painful after a few more days then call the NHS 111 number for advice. |

Ah thanks, thought the jabs were October November time. Will definitely be getting a jab next year after catching it this year. |

All better now thanks, was just before Christmas and did end up with a trip to the hospital. The fever was just unbelievable. Despite how many times I thought I had the flu before, my god when you do get it you know all about it don’t you. |

Just realised that makes me sound like a drug user lol.
Last year I had to have an MMR and hepatitis injection before I started my job, I also donate blood regularly |
