Is there a limit on messages??

I see a number of status's saying sorry run out of messages...

Having been on this site nearly 20 year as a site supporter and non site supporter, I have never run out of messages... I don't get it?

There are limits that most of us won't encounter. The system sometimes implements them, especially with newer users but doesn't indicate why. Even us supporters could get it i think but the general allocation is generous. I had it a couple of times 10 years ago when I joined and think once after that, when not a supporter.

Yes been stopped a few times. Don't know what the limit is though resets at midnight

their is a limit but it takes a fair bit to reach it

My assumption is that it is new or newish members giving their messages an absolute battering to multiple other profiles
