It’s definitely not in good taste.
Eminem has a track record for his lyrics, especially his early stuff.
I love his music and think the slim shady days were his best but it’s a bit of a low blow to reference terrorist attacks. |

Eminem says something completely unacceptable but society the way it is now will need to hear it for themselves to join in the rage and every time someone streams it to hear the offending lyrics he makes money.

I think it’s the way he has used the lyrics more than the words themselves. But I guess you have a point because there were examples of all of those in songs that I didn’t have the same visceral reaction to.

Some have said it's no worse than a comparison to 'I don't like Mondays' by The Boomtown Rats, which is said to be a classic by some?

I think like all rap, it’s a rhyme to make you think. And is what’s relevant in the news at the time. Like when biggie rapped about the world trade etc. I rate him and he is an extremely clever wordsmith.  |

I think you have to interpret it in the right way, on the surface it might seem like it’s in poor taste but there’s also a track on the album that’s from the point of view of the Mandalay bay attacker in Las Vegas and if you listen to the end of the track it’s aimed at America’s shitty gun laws!! You can never take what Eminem says at face value! |

Btw whilst it may be tasteless so is much of rap and grime music. Should that entire culture be banned or just the odd lyric you take exception to?

He's singled out one specific incident, the relatives of the victims are still alive and grieving. |

I cried today...
It is no different to I Dont Like Mondays, to pick just one tune that commented on mass murder.
Do you think banning any mention of it be it in songs words or media is in any way going to change the world.
The world changes because peoples hearts change, not because some think anything should be banned because they may personally find it distasteful...

He’s always been controversial, listened to his new album on a long trip today it’s in the typical style.

At the end of the day eminem has never had tastefull lyrics . Its all on the person and weather they choose to be offended by them or not . Guys created his name and brand long ago and built a massive fan base which unfortunately won't be to everyone's taste. His old stuff is miles better than his new music aswell in my eyes. Just my opinion |

I don't think so, it's in poor taste perhaps- but this isn't anything new for him. He did the same thing referencing the columbine school shootings years ago. And honestly, as someone who loved Eminem when I was younger, this is by no means the most shocking thing he's written. |
