Judt heard on news the Cutty Sark is reopening after the fire that could easily have seen the end of a beautiful vessel. Think it time to visit Greenwich for the day.
Amazing what can happen when people work together and focus on something they want to happen. |

"I've been to the Cutty Sark 3 times. Twice when I was at school and once when we took our kids,
Quite possibly the 3 most boring trips I've ever had"
Ah, so you're saying because you were bored you set fire to it???????
Lol!

Apart from the sad reality it will never set sail again it is a fabulous restoration and shows(as someone said) what can be achieved when this country focuses on achieving something.
Now can they PLEASE restore a Concorde to full flying state and take it round the world with a bloody great Union Jack on it! (And a very small Tricolor underneath ... )
And a Harrier... |
