"Brighton is nice but it will always be Liverpool for me and I've lived in a fair few places."
When I was in Liverpool I noticed that a lot of the newsagents had all the sweets and booze covered behind glass windows, because of shop lifters.
I went for a drink and then tried to pull my chair forward then I noticed that all the chairs and tables where screwd down to the floor in case it kicked off.

I'd agree on York, that's why I live there. It has its bad areas though and York City Council are doing their best to ruin it further by allowing building of student accommodation or ugly apartment blocks on every scrap of land including playing fields and parks. |

Ludlow because it's peaceful and poss the foodie capital of England.
London because politically it's so out of touch with the rest of the country.
Brighton, because it's a sleepier London-on-Sea.

"Exeter, a modern vibrant City with an ancient historical story.
Urban, but in the heart of the countryside.
" I have to agree with you.
Exeter is an ideal place to visit.
The Quayside has shops cafe's restaurants. If you like cycling. You can cycle all the way to Dawlish along the ship canal. And on the other side of the estuary, you can cycle to Exmouth. |

I simply do not believe this. I have lived in Liverpool 50 yrs so I'd say I've been in a lot more bars than you and never have i experienced this.

"Brighton or Winchester
I quite fancy Winchester - I haven't been before..."
I drove past Winchester twice today, going from Farnborough to Bournemouth, then Bournemouth back home. And both times my mind went back to The Fast Show and I shouted out "Hi, I'm Ed Winchester". Good job my car windows were shut |

Well believe it or not but I experienced it. I've seen chairs bolted down in other cities too. |

Oswestry because not only is it my home town, it is vibrant, good range of shops, historical and near the Borders
Edinburgh because it is diverse, amazing locals, amazing places to eat historical... I spend as much time as I can there, I love the vibe no matter who you are or what your story is you fit in. |

Depends if we're asking which is the nicest place to visit or live?
I do love York and also Stratford Upon Avon
The main attraction for me for anywhere is water - sea / rivers etc rather than shops |

I obviously like Brighton. There’s always lots of things happening, it’s lively all year round, and has a really good vibe. Lots to see and do.
I would really like to visit Chester and also Liverpool. |

Liverpool, amazing people.
Chester, small bit ‘nice’.
Manchester, big and plenty going on.
York, nice but quaint.
Edinburgh and Glasgow are nice.
Harrogate is quite nice as towns go. |

Can't comment on most of these but have to disagree on Brighton. Lived there for 6 months a few years ago. Hell on earth for me. Very up itself and absolutely freezing. I was wearing tight under leggings under jeans most days. Up here in chill Scotland I don't even wear socks. |
