Both are great in there own ways, I think star trek but only the original series with captain kirk and spock,
I know it looks very dated now and the sets are cheap but just for the comedy value (not really intended on their part) makes it priceless |

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest |
Old school Star Wars / Star Trek (until Voyager) would have been a veritable tie for me.
The new Star Wars trilogy is awful and the reimagined J.J. Abrhams films and the Discovery series don't hold a candle to their predecessors. It's a pass on both. |

Star Wars all the way. Started as a fan when I was a kid when the very first film came out. Can happily say I’ve watched every one of them at the cinema. Just wish bloody JarJar Binks had not been in it! Argh! |

"Star Wars. The end.
Haha haha a series of films where a sword of light is the ultimate weapon?
Like to really see it stop a faser gun
STAR TREK
By a million light years
"
The light of a lightsaber is actually plasma and can easily stop a silly little 'ray-gun'. Lol
Star Wars is the pinnacle of good against evil.
All I can say to you is: May the Force be with You. |

"And what's with all the baby Yoda stuff around at mo?????
Are we to expect a Yoda origin movie
Yoda appears as a baby in the new spin off series - the Mandalorian. "
It’s Yoda’s offspring, unless the Mandalorian is set 900 years before the original trilogy. |

In terms of generating money, Star Wars.
In terms of output, imagination, quality scripts and longevity, it's Star Trek.
If you were forced to watch nothing but Star Wars, you'd be saddled with very limited choice.
Some people are content to settle for that - and you can make billions of dollars out of them. |

"Star Wars is for children. Star Trek is for people with a little more in their capacity to think. Star Wars is the Beatles of film. Overrated as fuck. "
A bit harsh. The Beatles actually were great. |

Didn’t say they weren’t....
But read what I said.... overrated doesn’t mean bad. It means people obsess too much over something that isn’t it the standard that people think. The Beatles and Star Wars are the two most overrated pop culture products of the last century.... |

Definitely Star Wars for me
Only ever watched the first Star Trek shows with Kirk, Spock, etc never watched any of the follow up series, although I just seen the trailer for the new one about to start on Amazon with Patrick Stewart and it does look good |
