"What's the odds The Special One will be opposite Chelsea in the final? "
I doubt it. Real have to beat Bayern to get through, but they do have a priceless away goal. And with Bayern defending a place in the final on their home ground.. Can't see Mourinho getting anywhere near Munich on May 19 |

I'd rather it was Bayern v Chelsea tbh. I don't want Ronaldo to have a CL Winner's Medal and I'd like to see another German team beaten on their home turf. 5-1 will do lol |

It would be a good final and an interesting one for Roman Abramovich. |

Well, as much as I love MUFC, I was born in Chelsea, a strenuous reason for wanting them to win I know, but they are an English team so I'd be rooting for them anyway as United aren't there. |

"So happy Bayern got through. Can't stand Mourinho or Real Madrid.
This is one final I have got to watch. "
Will you change your mind when he eventually bowls up at Old Trafford? |

Hasn't Jose's bubble well and truly burst!! He was so full of himself a few years ago and tonight he headed off down the tunnel the moment Real lost like a surly little boy who'd had his ice cream nicked. So glad Real lost .... because Chelsea won't beat Bayern at home in the Final, which means Newcastle will qualify for the CL next year if they finish fourth! |

Dont count your chickens mate... I am still waiting to see if I will be going to Munich. If I do, I will wave to you as we lift the trophy |

With your key central defenders banned annd Ramirex out too I can't see Torrez scoring enough to take the trophy, although I think any Chelsea fan sees him as a bit of a demi-god at the moment lol.
Don't get me wrong, I want Chelsea to win and I'll rooting for them but against Bayern in their own back yard I think it's a tall order. |

I'd rather have played madrid but who knows,we've seen off Napoli after being 3-1 down, beaten Benfica and seen of the supposedly 'best football team ever' albeit a team who seem rattled and lack a plan B. Watching Barca for the last 15 minutes on Wednesday was like watching a 40 second tape loop. It was predictable.
As for Bayern? They're not the best team in Europe, they're not even the best team in Germany, but they may be the best team left in the CL. Either way they're beatable. let's hope Cahill is fit and with Luiz playing if fit a lot of responsibility falls on to Jon Obi Mikel ,tho he has been playing well since RDM has shown some faith in him.
We'll see |

having said that if you go to....'List of European Cup and UEFA Champions League winners' on Wikipedia they already have Bayern down as the winners..
Has Michel Platini been editing it again? |

Meanwhile....
Barcelona took a bold step to ensure their continued dominance by petitioning FIFA to rewrite the rules of football so that possession of the ball counts for more than goals scored. Following two important losses over a four day span to Chelsea and Real Madrid in which Barcelona dominated possession of the ball but still failed to score more goals than their opposition, they decided that now was the time to act.
"Football is obviously broken," said Barcelona midfielder, and defender of all that is right, Xavi. "When the team that just scores the most goals is ruled the winner over a team that holds the ball for the vast majority of the match only because the rules say so, something is very wrong. And it is time we correct that wrong. Because Cesc is suffering."
Xavi is not the only Barcelona player speaking out on this issue, though. After Barcelona's 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal despite maintaing 79 percent of possession, Andres Iniesta labeled the match "unjust." A sentiment that teammate Sergio Busquests echoed after Barcelona lost a decisive match in the Spanish league title race to rivals Real Madrid by a score of 2-1 even though the Catalans kept 72 percent of possession.
"We hope that FIFA will finally take this matter seriously and take action," Xavi continued, standing on a table so he could be seen. "It is time for all other clubs to resume their poor imitation of our style of play and lose to us with dignity. After all, everyone knows that playing disciplined defense within the rules of the game and then using patience and precision to score on the counter attack is still cheating and equivalent to puppy murder. Actually, it's worse. Defending is worse than puppy murder."
When reached for comment on Barcelona's petition, a FIFA spokesman said they are taking these concerns quite seriously and the public should be far more interested in this than anything to do with corruption. |

It's been announced that even though John Terry cannot play, if they win he will be able to lift the cup and recieve a winners medal. So his team mates do the work and he gets the glory. Sorry that to me is just wrong.
I will usually support any English club in a match over a foriegn side, but my hopes go with Bayern |

"Pep Guardiola has just announced that he is leaving Barcelona at the end of the season
Will he head to Chelsea?
it seems he's taking a 'sabbatical'"
Till when tho, I really believe the current stand in manager deserves the job |

To win the Champions League you have to play 13 matches. The whole CL squad will get a medal. He's the club captain. Altho personally I don't think he should lift the trophy I don't think its written that it has to be the captain on the night |

Forgive my ignorance didn't realise that. But no way should he be allowed to lift the trophy, that's if they win |
