I have an 11 year old terrier who is independant, stubborn and nutty but very lovable, lots like me before you ask..
Our favourite game is hide n seek, he will wait downstairs while I hide, when I call him he will tear around the house searching for me while I try not to laugh
Do you play games or have favourite activities with your fur babies and does your personality reflect within them? |

My little furbaby is my whole wide world.
Though he's not so little anymore! He's a ginger mixed breed cat (with tabby style markings) called Roger. I adopted him from a rescue when he was 12 weeks old, he's now almost 6 years old. And we've been best friends ever since.
We do most things together, he's like my shadow, he always sits/sleeps with me, comes with me to the bathroom, sits outside the shower while I wash etc.
We love playing ball together, I throw a ping pong ball and he catches it. Or chase, where I'll chase him and pet him and then he chases me.
I could go on all day, I love him so very much. |

I have a heinz variety although he looks like a cross between a beagle and a german shepherd. Batty as fuck, but he is my shadow and i love him to bits.
We have one of those plastic tug toys. He has one bit in his mouth and the other bit i hold onto and i skate him along our hallway (wooden floor) so he’s gliding. He loves it! he gets the toy and literally throws it onto my lap!
He is also completely different with my youngest son who has autism - with my eldest he will play and chase him, with my youngest he just greets him, nuzzles him and walks away and leaves him be.

I have a French bulldog, dexster after the serial killer. He wraps me around his little finger, well if he had one. I used to have a chinchilla, Elvis that I played hide n seek with. Great fun but a bastard to catch and put back in his cage, so fast |

I have a 15 year old Springerdinger, she was my first rescue, had been beaten and starved as a pup. 14 years on, she is a little less mental than when I had her, and I also have a herd of Rescue cats, a Siamese, who uses the dog as a hot water bottle, a ginger moggie, who is the boss cat! And a black cat, who behaves exactly like the cartoon cat Simon's Cat!!
We are about to get a new kitten, also from a Rescue Centre, which will be my daughters cat, and she is a cute little tabby.
I love both cats and dogs and find it impossible to choose a favourite, as they all have their own distinct personalities! |

I have 2 rescue dogs. A big cross breed and a tiny JRT. They're both a bit special. The JRT doesn't play games, doesn't have any interest in toys, just wants to be attached to someone 24/7. I'm surprised she hasn't been injured accidentally yet because I'm always tripping over her. The big one just likes to ignore people unless food/toys/walks are involved. He loves chasing and catching balls, but doesn't bring them back, just stands there looking at me like I'm stupid. |

I have two siamese x.
Beautiful boys (brothers). One is a very typical siamese, very intelligent and mischievous. The other is quieter and shy.
They are my constant companions. I love them and they love me. I am their total slave |

Hide and seek around the house or garden with my dog. Such fond memories and great fun. He’s getting on now and sleeps most of the day. Dreading the day as I will be in bits.
Brothers and sisters be aware, never open your heart for a dog to tear.
Getting upset just typing this. Off to give him a hug. |

"I like to mush my husky on my boys scooter
We have people who do that in the forest on big boy scooters"
I'd love to do that! I do canicross which is running with them attached to me with bungee lines. Mine like to stop every 30 seconds to sniff or pee up something. We've had some scary moment when they've spotted other animals though, I had a nasty accident a couple of years ago where they dragged me down a river bank and halfway across the river trying to get a squirrel |

I refer to my home as a Fur Palace, thankfully wooden floors and a determination not to have a house that smells of pets, prevents this! |

Big ginger tom cat
Used to be the terror of the neighbourhood and wasn't scared of anything.
Now just sleeps a lot as he is old and has quite bad diabetes.
Love him to bits |

If there’s one term that sums up a lot of what is wrong with society, it’s ‘fur babies’.
I don’t usually rant on the forum but I detest the term with a passion. |

First world society.
I’m as fond of dogs as any dog lover but I believe miscalling them as ‘fur babies’ is often on a path that leads to not recognising the animal’s needs, behaviours and ethology.
And don’t even start on dyed Poodles and tutus for pooches....dogs are not children. Mind you, even on a child, that’s borderline cruelty.... |
