Just curious they say some ladies have thought about their wedding day since being little girls. That all important ever so special day.

So guys is it something you think about? Do you have a vision in your minds eye or just want it over get it over with and get to the party?

Would you let the guy plan your wedding...Guys could you be trusted to?

B (my wife) planned everything for ours but I had input when it came to choosing things I’d like to see/eat/experience etc. Where there were instances certain decor was not available that she wanted, I made alternative suggestions and we came to an agreement to ensure the whole set up didn’t deviate massively to whatever vision she had; everything looked great!

But based on what’s always said, your question or seen in the movies- nope I never had a scrapbook labelled “my wedding,” with picture cut outs of suits, flowers etc lol. The joint planning between us led to a beautiful day! But nothing I would say was been planned or thought of for years as a kid!

Deviate from* typo lol

And could I be trusted to do it on my own...whilst she thinks I would do a good job as she’s said, based on how I helped- I wouldn’t want that responsibility...at all! As with most things, joint planning and decision making works best! I’m very “organic” and laid back she’s very “geometric” and precise etc- the perfect balance ...me planning on my own might have pissed her off when she starts inspecting the detail that looks good from afar! Lolol

I can honestly say a wedding is something that I've never dreamed about, and I'll never have.

I didn't have a 'dream wedding' idea and my actual wedding was nothing like I would have wanted bar the dress.

It’s not something I’ve ever dreamed about or thought to do. From a very young age I’ve always said I’m never getting married

I'd never really thought about it until recently.

Iv got a fair few ideas and I would want it us both to be equally involved in planning it but I'm definitely better at that sort of thing than my potential groom.

I always thought i’d have a big white wedding with all my family watching me walk down the aisle. But despite being engaged to two different men over the years, the reality of getting physically married didn’t appeal. I like to be free, to be able to just walk away, if i need to.

Also 99% of my family are now dead so if i were to ever get married in the future i’d do it in Vegas or something. But he’d have to be bloody amazing to get me to commit.

I'm hoping to get married this year. I've never dreamt about a big wedding, doesn't interest me greatly and I see it as a waste of money. With the income my household makes I would much rather spend the money on a honeymoon or a car etc.

I'm hoping to just do a register office and then the two of us go on holiday somewhere lovely and hot. I'd be more than happy with that and luckily my partner is on the same page. I would be more than happy to let him sort all this out though as it's so simple! If it was a big wedding I'd have to be in charge of themes, colours, outfits, food etc.

I've thought about it yes, but I don't have any ideas as such regarding anything other than the style/colour of the dress.

The first time I really had an idea in my head was when I saw the video for November Rain and I fell in love with her dress. I'm over that now but would still want the basic design as in the skirt bit being above the knee at the front and almost hitting the floor at the back. I'd want it white and black.

Would I trust B to organise? Absolutely. He would probably do a far better job than I would, even with the limited free time he has!

I never wanted to get married, I always saw it as an extra way of control, but now I suppose I see it as someone loving me enough to want to marry me and envisioning being with me until the end and me with them, which I've never been able to do until now. The ultimate sign of commitment and love.

Alas, I can't see a wedding happening though.

P
