This has probably been asked before but do you guys find winks tedious, I’ve spoke with a few people on here now and always get mixed answers, some find it rude and lazy whereas some people don’t mind

I always wink people to show an interest it’s down to them to either wink back or message

What do we think?

I don't give a shit if winks are acknowledged or not. I clearly state why I use them on my profile. I do not use the wink for any reason other than I mention.

I've no problem with using them or not using them, but it really annoys me when profiles state that YOU MUST NOT use them etc... Too many people seem to decide exactly how the site MUST be used, and it's totally different to the next profile, and just makes them look like pricks. You've got to have some give and take with them, and if someone ignores them, fine. Just don't make them part of some elaborate mating ritual to start talking to someone.

I occasionally look at winks, but most of the time they're from profiles with no photos and sod all bio, so I have no idea whether I'd be remotely interested in them, therefore no wink/message back.

We don't mind them. We sometimes send them as a way of expressing an interest. If we get a wink back we would then message them.

We do also send messages instead of winks too.

I don't mind them - it prompts me to look at the person's profile and if they look interesting I'll wink back or say hello.

I check it’s not for a party / event invite, then ignore and delete. They mean many things to different people, because I can’t mind read I just delete x

I use them lots and have had great meets from them as well, people can't take offence when I delete a wink, but will happily give me a mouthful if I delete their message unread
