So let’s face it, the weather outside is grim. Driving home from the weekly shop and saw a PCSO walking down the street and felt really bad for him.
What other jobs wouldn’t you fancy in this crap weather? |

Being on exercise as a squaddie is pretty honking in this weather! Getting up at 5am to get out of the dry kit you slept in to put your cold soggy kit back on from the day before. Morale depletion. |

Days like this are why I stopped being an archaeologist....having to scrape snow off the ground before digging a hole in the middle of a field gets very old very quickly |

It is, but at the same time everyone else is in just as much clip as you so you just laugh at each other. Weirdly as soon as you're back home in the warm you start to miss being out on the ground with the blokes despite the crap conditions! |

Hubby and I are both Posties. I’m very grateful that today was my day off! Fortunately for hubby his round today was 2 tower blocks, 2 small blocks of flats, a few businesses, an old folks complex and a couple of small streets. He was mostly indoors and stayed pretty dry |
