I think most people are "good" listeners up to a certain point - from that point it depends on headspace, relationship with the other person etc.
I think I cheerlead my friends well if I believe in what they are doing. Even if I don't, I'll still support them as much as possible (but tell them I think they are being a bit bloody daft). |

People can usually solve their own problems but just need a sounding board to talk through the options. You never get the full picture, and can make things worse by making assumptions.
But somewhere lively can be as good as somewhere quiet. |

I can be both and try my best to be when I see or sense someone in need, there's darkness all around so it's always good to bring a little light when possible. |
