Anyone else retch a little when this word is used instead of women or am I just a snob with too much exposure to incels?

Women could be TS/TV and females.

Female is a biological version of women, I am prone to use this alot when trying to describe who I'm talking to.

If I'm talking to a TS/TV I would use the word "women"

Manchester (she/her)

Female feels objectifying and yes, ditto incels . Woman or lady is fine. Girl is for a child or in certain contexts which don't apply to 99.99% of Fab.

Trans women are still women even if they're not cis women.

There are far worse things than veing called a female! If you were told you look like you were born a man I think that might make you fetch a bit more.

Also some of the terms used to describe genitals are disgusting.

If i had the feeling sick emoji I would use it here.

It's embedded in fab itself. Look at your message filter settings for example. There is no mentioning of men and women - it's males and females. Makes me feel more like an animal than a human. But hey ho, upwards and onwards.

It’s an oddly scientific expression. It boils everything down to biological gender and ignores everything else that makes up a woman.

I tend to use it a lot, maybe due to having a scientific background. It's all a context thing though isn't it or what you associate the word with. I hate being called love, if M calls me that he's winding me up like a top.

I'm from London so just about anyone, any age, sex or background is "darlin" or "love". Last year I was talking to a man who objected it and I tried to stop doing it and I just couldn't, it's just who I am. So I never object but I totally get why women don't like it.
