In London?
Working in London for awhile and I've been thinking about going up the Shard on my day off.
Is there anything else you lot can suggest doing in London City center? |

If you are looki g just fora view get on the Emirates cable car. Its covered as part of your tfl pass.
The views of the city are much better from there. Even better than London Eye.
Only you are not stuck in a fish bowl for an hour with a group of strangers.
They also have a airplane simulator at one end
Also check out one of the heated lidos in South London. |

Sounds good.. I've never noticed cable cars around London centre before.
I'm guessing they're over the east end? |

There and to the left a bit |
Borough Market
Brick Lane for a curry
Museum Of London
Postman's Park (near St Pauls)
Walk from Tower Bridge along the South Bank to the London Eye
Natural History Museum
Science Museum
V&A Museum
With the exception of the curry they're all free too |

The British Museum is a must. Used to live a couple of minutes from it and you can't tire. Go and be amazed, learn and consider so much there. Could plan several shorter visits, to explore different sections. Free entry
Walk along the river, especially when quietet. Consider possibly a run along it, through the royal parks, Buckinghams Palace, by Parliament - a little fitness and inclusive sight seeing.
Look for last minute discount theatre or show tickets.
Other museums potentially too - check what most fits your interests.
Consider a film exploration - tracing steps of films you've liked of London. So many to choose from - it'll depend on your movie tastes. |
