Hi sometimes i prefer sending winks to make the first move then they can wink back if they like foes that seem wrong?

Not wrong, you use the site however it works for you.

I hardly ever check my winks though and I don't think I'm alone in that, so it's possible your winks are being missed.

no it isn't wrong, winks are a feature of the site and using them is fine.

That's what I do.

A wink shows I'm interested, if I get one back, bonus. Most messages don't get read, as they are inundated with them
