Yes it will in 2020. Do check.
UK remains 'in' till 31/12/20
2021 will depend on the deal.
Recipricol rights etc. Us UK passport holders have had 3 years so far to get other EU nationalities so we retain the freedoms of being in the EU. Healthcare was one of the big points. |

"Is the EU health card still going to be valid for a holiday in Spain in June this year?"
Yes.
Simple answer.
As far as I can remember, PIGS have all agreed to carry on with the system no matter what.

"Is the EU health card still going to be valid for a holiday in Spain in June this year?"
as someone has said... it will be vaild during the "transistion period"..... which is up until 31/12/20, but after that if there are no agreements in place, then it becomes null and void...
basically if nothing is agreed then 31/12/20 by default becomes your "no deal" cliff edge point....

A deal with the card in relation to health has already been sorted.

actually.... that is a dangerous thing to put out.....
only Spain reached and agreement with the UK where both has said it will continue to uphold the Ehic scheme as it is.
Ireland and Portugal will allow UK citizens to get free healthcare if they show their passports. But there’s no guarantee how long these arrangements will last.
Other EU countries (the other 24!) have not agreed to an extension, meaning you may need to pay full price.

So they are going to Spain (which is what I quoted) Spain have a agreed to a deal and erm, that was my reply!
Remember, it's in the best interest of the EU to agree to a deal, as so many visit us, as we them.
