Have you ever noticed
You never really see a very good looking fella with an ugly woman they usually have thin great body swinging from their arm.
But
You see plenty of stunning women with fellas with no teeth and who look like they just climbed out of a bin lorry.
Which leads me to believe women really do go for personality while men are as vain as fuck.

No, woman can be just as and in some cases more shallow than men.
It always has been and always will be on an individual basis.
Its more of a case men are more likely (not always) to drop a standard by a littlen(or a lot) while generally women won't budge at all. |

Guy thinks I'm good looking.

Well put it this way and its only my opinion I would consider a women with good facial features more and nice slim with curves in the right places more attractive than a woman with good facial features but they are very big.

This! Both are as important as the other. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to save face. I don't care who you are, I will always call you out on it.
People will have different tastes of physical attraction but bottom line is that you don't ever put personality over physical, because we ALL base our decision on getting to know somebody from a visual point first. However if personality is not there then the attraction will go no further - but you still won't suddenly decide to get with somebody you are not physically attracted to. |

I think looks can often spark the initial interest but without personality these people would no longer be attractive to me
I've also had it the opposite way round where someone who would not be deemed as classically attractive became attractive to me as I spent time with them and got to know their personality |

Not always the case, I've never based my decision on getting to know someone based on visual point and I'm sure many others are the same, there's been times where I've become attracted to someone after I've interacted with them and got to know them. |

Initially looks might draw you in, but if the personality is crap then you ain't gonna stay. On the other hand, I've gotten to know a few women in work that I wouldn't have initially been attracted to, but since getting to know them I now see them differently and do fancy them. I dont fuck around at work though so all I will ever do is fancy them lol dam it |

It's both looks and personality, with a wide range of personal choices on which has the greater importance.

I disagree Ive seen plenty of good looking guys with girls that have surprised me.
Ok we're currently seperated but I would say on the whole beast is probably above me in attractiveness traits. I have a nice face but let's face it my body is fat and lumpy where as he looks like a tall long haired well built Adonis  |

I’ve seen a fair few gorgeously stunning men with women who you wouldn’t expect. And yes, the same with women.
However i always remember what a hunk of a guy once told me as i rebuffed his advances because i felt that i wasn’t quite up to his level of attractiveness.
“You have no idea what a person finds attractive just by looking at their physical appearance. YOU are prejudging” He then went on to list his favourite pornstars which were in line with that he’d told me and i felt silly and realised that sexiness and beauty are in the eye of the beholder.
Lesson learnt.

o/p not strictly true. I used to work for a perfumery and cosmetic company. I have to say the majority of women there were fine regardless of physical looks. Most attractive were the ones with a great sense of humour. A good line in chat with lots in common was important also. Some had what you would probably call "model" looks but they were as shallow as they come with nothing to say. |
