It seems to me that a lot of us are feeling awful, for many reasons.
So, therapy, medication, self-help etc aside, this thread is for people who simply need a good hug. Or cwtch. Or both.
I am epic at hugs, but I need them too. So share them here... |

A line I read by Atwood this morning..."Having experienced both, I'm not sure which is worse; intense feeling or the absence of it"
Pretty much nailed the last bunch of years of my life. Hopping from all of the feels to numbness and back.
I appear to be past that period of bleakness, It's left it's shadow behind but even that seems to be fading. I feel strong again.
Happiness is inevitable too.
If chatting to a random stranger on the internet will help my inbox is always open... no judgement and I won't try to fix you... |

This sounds amazing. Although given some of the dirty minds here, I doubt it would stop at hugs |

"We all need that human contact, a simple hug releases alot of feel good chemicals in our body and if you don't get that contact it affects us more than we think.

I know. I use that knowledge to give great hugs, but sometimes I need them, too.. |
