Someone said I look familiar

So basically someone on Fab no mentioning of names basically sent me a message asked me where I live and said I look very familiar, now their pictures are all blanked out. On their profile it does say if they don't share pictures but when someone says that I look familiar wouldn't it be be good to actually see who that person is? the funny thing is is when they sent a message before they blocked me they said they were genuinely interested in me but because I asked for a picture they said I look familiar they block me...

All I know is is my pictures are all public so I haven't got anything to hide when you basically ask for one picture to actually see their face they could easily untick that box so I could only see it for a little while.. I know this now may come across as something strange to talk about but but for me I haven't got anything to hide... really was looking forward to meeting up with Jayne

Brighton - even Hove!

Either they know you and don’t want you to know them or it’s a wind up merchant playing mind games. Either way.....forget it all

I reply with ‘okay, and do I get to know who you are? Cause I don’t play these games. It’ll be a block if your next message doesn’t include a face pics

But the thing what really got me is I was talking to them and they tell me that I look familiar so it's only fair for them too send me a picture or am I just completely living not in the 21st century especially with one of those pictures that are blurred out and there is a pub literally next to me if someone can message them on my behalf because I really liked what I seen bodywise just a shame that I couldn't see a face to go with it

Nobody’s obliged to send you a face pic

No I'm not saying that they have to send me a picture but there was no need for them to block me because then my next message just let's meet up for a coffee let's meet up for a drink but I didn't even get that all I got was you look very familiar and then an instant block instead of just like meeting that person when they clearly said we were generally interested in you that's like playing a game

Maybe they said you looked familiar before blocking you to be more polite than saying they didn't like the look of you.

Maybe they were interested until they realised who you were. Simple as that, not really a game. I block those who I recognise as well.

Assuming their recognition of you was genuine, it sounds like they are determined to conceal their own identity to avoid being "detected" in the real world.

They have something to hide, for whatever reason. You don't.

Try not over-think or judge. Just move on.
