What exactly do people mean when they say "can't accom, can't travel"? It makes little sense as surely if you can't accom, you have to travel somewhere for a meet. Or does it simply mean can't accom, and can't travel more than a couple of miles? It doesn't really seem to make sense |

I have seen this on a lot of profiles lately, i can accom but unable to travel unless i get a bus or taxi as i have no car at the moment hence my profile states that i can accom but not always able to travel |

I state can't accommodate and can't travel as I am married and can't meet at my home and I don't drive hence can't travel.
Clearly I can and do use public transport but this therefore limits where and when I can meet. |

I get that, it doesn't take a great deal of explanation if you can't do one or the other. I can't accom atm as I've just returned from charity work in India, so I'm currently staying with friends until my property purchase goes through (hurry up please halifax lol)
I'm happy to travel, and I'm sure there are certain people who don't drive who would be happy to use public transport to go to a meet.
If you can't travel and can't accom though, then what, end of the street in the phonebox? Whatever does it for you!! |

People have a variety of reasons for not travelling or accommodating some of which others have mentioned. If you want to know which reason applies to which profile then pm the profile. However isn't it a better idea to interact with someone then ask as they may well not be interested in you making the whole question irrelevant. |

Local people.
Local hotels.
Local clubs.
Oww this is sounding very Royston Vasey
Outdoors... if the other person/people pick them up.
Or somewhere with good, easy transport links.
It kind of warns people who live 100 miles away that it's not really gonna happen in the home of either.
