women getting them to stay on the site

Now three questions
1 How are we going to get more women on here for one thing?
2.How are we going to get more women who join to stay?
3.How are we going to stop some of the fuckwits on here to behave them selfs
Now there are a lot of good folk on here who are really nice people who cos of Dickhead that join and here who are having a hard time of it
So lets come up with some ideas that might help the admin on here so here we go lets open this forum up see where it leads

Everyone (men, women, couples etc) has it within their power to get the most from the site and have the best possible experience - it's up to them individually to find what makes it that for them by using the available tools, being respectful and considerate and adopting the right attitude and approach together with having the right expectations.
It really is that simple and can all be done without Fab or anyone (other than the profile owner) needing to do a thing.

Have a strike list against men that join.
Abusive behaviour gets report and they get a strike agaainst there name, to many complaints means you are gone |

Women only join if they want to but word of mouth might be a good way to let women know the site exists.
Women will stay if they want to.
There are rude and abusive people everywhere on line and they aren't always men.
Women can help themselves by making sure they have strict mail and age filters on, blocking and reporting abusive profiles and messages.

Works fine for me.
I use the tools that are available to me, I have basic common courtesy and respect, and lo and behold, Fab works just fine. |

It does but that is something no-one can change about others - which is why I keep saying the more people focus on their own experience and quit worrying about others the easier it gets.
Yes, abusive behaviour should be dealt with, childish behaviour? I just ignore it and move on mostly and can honestly say my experience of the site is 90% positive and the other 10% I take with a pinch of salt |

No one ever leaves. It all just finds a balance doesnt it. I dont think the wider fab population worries about the problems the forum highlights as much as we do.  |

Make it so that if you message someone and they don’t reply you can’t message them again for a certain amount of time. At the moment there is a message that says you have already messaged without a reply but that isn’t going to stop anyone.
This would mean less people receiving abusive messages for not replying. I imagine there will still be some out there who may keep trying until the time limit passes, but hopefully most will have moved on to the next target by then. Also if the person reply’s, then normal message services apply, so then if someone who has been replied to then decides to become abusive after rejection the block button can still be used. |

You're spot on. I don't here anyone I chat to mention any of the stuff that crops up all the time on the forum! It's like people are obsessed with what everyone else is doing, who is or has it better or worse. You just don't get that with regular fab members. Thank God! |

I don’t really care how many women come here or stay, doesn’t impact on my experience. It’s an adult site so as adults we should be able to handle a few shitty messages. I never get abusive messages anyway and I’ve been saying no thanks to 100’s of people today. |

I’ve been on here for about 9 months and my experience has been amazing.
I’ve met some brilliant, supportive people, had some new experiences, and I’m looking forward to more.
I reply to pretty much all my messages with a polite rebuff (unless they are really gross messages), and I’ve not yet had any abuse.
If anyone did message abuse, I would just use the block button and let it go. |
