Hi ladies, what do solutions do you have for hot flushes?
Anita is having loads of them at the moment, waking her up during the night and causing a disturbance at random intervals. The constant heating and cooling of the car on every journey is like some medieval torture.
So what strategies do you have to deal-with or control them?

Haha! The progesterone cream just goes on her skin. You can get HRT patches so I imagine it works in a similar way. |

I think the doctors still consider her to be too young () for HRT.

There are quite a few herbal supplements that may help, such as black cohosh, sage, sea buckthorn, Agnus castus. (All available online in tablet / capsule form)
Unfortunately it’s a bit trial and error for each individual.

I've tried black cohosh but never tried the magnet.
I looked it up to see how it might work and this is the blurb ....

More precisely, they’re said to reduce excessive sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity and increase parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) activity.
