Following on from another thread. This is a question for the ladies.

Do you want to get to know someone through conversation before you meet them or do you see a picture you like and just decide thats the one for me.

But I don’t like one offs, I like to feel comfortable and to have a regular thing going. If it was one offs, I don’t think I’d be bothered.

Conversation but not for too long because I only know if I like someone when I meet them in the flesh so pointless wasting ages messaging online to find there is zero attraction in the flesh.

I don't have that much free time and want to spend it wisely so I want to know we will at least have a laugh if nothing else. I can't tell that from a photo.

Both, I need to be interested enough in them physically to consider meeting them for sex. I also need to be interested in them mentally too as one sided conversations aren't for me, and I may aswell talk to an ironing board if that's the case.

I also like to chat to get the measure of someone. Are there any red flags? Do they say one thing one week and the opposite the next? I need to know there's a level of respect there along with no bullshit.

I like to chat for a while, but not too long - it depends how easily the conversation is flowing, but I'll know pretty quickly whether I want to meet or not
