As the English language is always evolving and sayings or words can have different meanings throughout the generations....
Do yo listen to the wireless or radio?
Go to the pictures or cinema?
Go to a disco or a club?
If you are having a gay day, are you happy or fancy a bit of cock?
What words or phrases do you use that give your age away? |

I tend to use old timer words like
wireless
Cinematic picture house
Discotheques
Television set
I dont shorten words, the same goes with names i address people by their full name like Benjamin, Patrick ect never shorten names.  |
