Getting to know you/ pm thread part 8
Jump to: Newest in thread
It's this again!
If you're in, PM people to ask them questions. They answer on the thread without mentioning the question or who asked.
Play nice. It doesn't all have to be about sex. Respect filters and people not willing to answer some questions.
Have fun! |

In and to answer a couple from before
- fondue. Cheese preferably. Just chuck all of them in and give me a slab of ciabatta.
- black tight boxers. White are overrated.
- La Santa Maria because it would have been an absolutely amazing, groundbreaking experience. Hopefully I wouldn't just disappear though.
P.S Only one. That's still quite bad. Clearly I need to go and read some more. |

Answer from a previous thread ...
Over worked, long hours, underpaid. Lots of driving all over the north of England. Outside all weathers. using different machinery. Power tools and hand tools. Trying to make things look nice for a public that doesnt seem to care either way |

There and to the left a bit |
Oh good question and a tough one...would be a sidekick/supporting actor type role...
...the one that springs to mind is Red in Shawshank - doesn't really take the lead, offers words of wisdom when needed, and helps move the story along without actually doing a great deal |

No, I'm not a fan because it's bullshit. I'm well aware of my strengths and my appearance is sure as shit not one of them. If I started believing half the crap said on here I'd drive myself bananas, so I just shrug it off. |

If I'm cooking it either vegan spaghetti bolognese or Mac and 'cheese' (I'm not an amazing cook) if I'm eating out, I'm partial to Indian food, nothing spicy though. I love a vegetable korma. |

It would be ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey
It’s how I see the world, so many people searching for something, lost in the daily grind of life, but with the hope that one day things could change for them. If you stop believing, what are you actually living for? |

Best fab moment was meeting a really good looking funny man who I had great sex with.
Worst case was arranging a meet and he never intended to show then blanked me out. |

The Bone People. I love the dark poetic nature, the portrayal of the deep impossible complex characters and gritty love storyline. Interesting clash and unity between western and Maori cultures and the human condition.

Oh I’m in and answering from the last thread...
No you don’t need a professional photographer to do your pics. Most on here do their own with a mobile phone |

At the moment Jose is who we have, do I think his style of play suits us no.
I don’t think at the moment the manager is the problem. It’s more the players. They’ve lost that connection they had with each other, that fighting spirit. A shake up is needed. Players leave and get that team spirit back, that’s what has got us where we have the last couple of years. |

I don't think there is one right now. Maybe Pass You By by Gillian Welch, if you ignore the armed robbery bit:
Well I used to talk tough, I used to get loud
Want to paint my name all over this town
The folks lined up just to dog my day
Now if I stay quiet, they stay out of my way.
Don't turn no head, don't catch no eye
Just a wind on the road, gonna pass you by. |

"Oh here.......the one you just asked
In real life.......not for public consumption
O, me thinks a cop out of the highest order "
Well not quite the highest order but a fair to middle cop out maybe |

I'm persuaded that the overwhelming majority of evidence points to evolution as one of the most conclusively proven scientific theories* there is.
* I'm using the scientific not colloquial word here
I know various ancient peoples had just so stories about the beginning of the world, and some people still believe them to be factual. I think the evidence for this is sparse, and I'm stretching politeness here. |

I've thought about this since you asked me. The answer is not for the obvious reasons.
Only because of his willingness to take a chance, to always be fighting adversity against the odds and if nothing else this one line alone...
"life isn't about how hard you hit? it's about how hard you get hit and keep getting hit but still get back up for more"
Not for the glory or the muscle tone it has to be Rocky |
