Yes. We are very open and honest with regards to our life. If people don’t approve, that’s their problem. Granted we don’t tell every single person, but we’d have no issue if those we hadn’t discovered it |

Some of my family do, my friends do and all my work colleagues do. Basically everyone around me knows. I felt being open about my trans self, social life etc made me feel better instead of hiding it. I've had no issues with anyone  |

I am in the education sector... At a religious school. So can't be as open as I'd hope to be. It would be a bit of a scandal if it got out at work 
Two friends know, as well as my hubby. That is it. |

Only those I meet.
Others have no need to know.
Perhaps one day it may change, but only for a proper real relationship. If that happens I wouldn't be here anyway... |

Same here. Our family, friends, work colleagues etc generally know. Family members don't ask, but others do. We've found that being open and honest about our lifestyle helps people understand what we do and why, which makes them less likely to judge us our jump to conclusions. |

Please don’t be so hard on yourself; there’s always someone who has interests in all types.
Wee suggestion; update your profile and keep the poem for the short stories/poems thread? Also do more socials; helps you meet folk that you can build up long term (as you’ve said that’s your preferred way)
