Sadly there is no one panacea for curing a migraine
The cures can be as varied as the triggers
Generally, plenty of water, sleep and a mix of ibuprofen and paracetamol works for me
For others, avoiding light
You have my sympathies, they can be debilitating at times x |

I'm on the back end of the migraine, nothing worked, spent all weekend in the dark, away from screens for most of it, taking meds etc and it just wouldn't go till a few hours ago where its started to clear slowly.
And I had a total freedom weekend. Not how I wanted to spend it! |

Dark room and sleep.
If I have one coming I take a heavy dose of Gabapentin which heads it off nicely.
I hate the aftershock feeling where you have that stabbing pain in your head where even leaning over or coughing hurts. |

I took pregablin but I swear it just got worse.
And I hate that too |

There are no cures sadly and I don't know what brought your migraine on ....... BUT
generally lots of water, low light, sleep and painkillers.
I used to press the roof of my mouth with my upturned thumbs...... worked for me |

Put down your phone. Turn off the lights. Rehydrate with lots of cold water. If you have some menthol put it on your temples. Lay down. Take pain relief |

I'd forgotten about the pressure point tricks! Can't think straight with a migraine though.
Maybe I should write them down and stick it on the medication box for next time. Thanks |

"Apparently there’s an ear piercing you can have for migraines?
Hope you’re better soon though "
My daughter has this, might go for it despite her saying it's painful to have done. |

I'm on back end of it. Looking at a screen hurt the eye balls. But so did sitting in the dark. So I switched between the two Coz I got bored and wanted a distraction. |
