Could be a euphemism (most things on here could be tbh) but what do people do to stay warm and cosy in winter months?

Hiding from twats

Thermals, thick socks, 2 duvets, and the dogs snuggling up to me at night if I'm alone.

Hot fluids (as in hot chocolate)

Winter duvet tog rather than a summer duvet tog.

Thinking of someone, that gives me a warm glow inside which warms me up.

Cheapest way to stay warm is ...put electric blanket on and go to bed at 8pm

I have a duvet suit. But as long as I have my fleeces on I am okay.

Hot water bottles are a waste of time. Too small.

I find if my feet are warm the rest of me is too. I have one under a blanket on the sofa and I stay toasty warm.

GSPxLabrador and JRT. The JRT is like a little water bottle, she loves cuddles The GSPX just takes up all the bloody space and steals the duvet

Find myself a hairy man and wrap him around me (well, a lass can dream...) otherwise I throw on a pair of fluffy socks.

I'd love a mastiff! Not enough space for one unfortunately.

"Could be a euphemism (most things on here could be tbh) but what do people do to stay warm and cosy in winter months? "

Extra layers of clothing are sufficient. It's not really cold in the winter any more.

Big old dog to share the couch with. Log fire burning in the stove, flames dancing in the darkness.

It's really rather toasty....
