It's this again!

If you're in, PM people to ask them questions. They answer on the thread without mentioning the question or who asked.

Play nice. It doesn't all have to be about sex. Respect filters and people not willing to answer some questions.

Have fun!

Waking after a good night's sleep, ideally in a cottage near the sea, going for a long walk along the beach, enjoying the sound of the waves and the gulls, stopping at a pub for a huge seafood dinner before returning to the cottage (and if appropriate for the time of year a roaring fire) and just lazing with a bottle of wine, a book and the kind of good company that conversation flows but doesn't matter if we sit in silence and just enjoy the moment...if that was then topped off with a thunderstorm and lightning show in the evening then the perfect day would be complete

Hmm probably my wedding dress...

Hand made, lined, heavy crepe, empire-line style, with gentle train. Has a gorgeous darted satin bodice with cap sleeves, with a 'v' back and buttons past my bum. It is edged in pearls and the bodice is covered in more pearls in a paisley style.

It hugged me perfectly and moves incredibly

It weighs an absolute tonne and makes a delicious noise when you move. It cost a fortune, but i got to wear it twice. It lasted longer than the marriage and has a special place in my wardrobe

One of the vulnerable people I volunteer with. I was away for a week (due to the nature of their vulnerability if I'm even a hint of not well I quarantine myself). The following week she asked me to come over, told me that seeing me was the brightest of light in the darkest of times. She's strong in her own ways and I admire her for it, but it moved me that my little addition to her life could mean so much. (she told me more but I won't share)

I had darted into Sainsbury on my lunch hour to get a sandwich. Saw a guy who looked familiar, made eye contact, there was a spark of acknowledgement from him so I thought I must know him from work (I've met thousands of people through work so if I recognise someone without knowing them they tend to be ex-colleagues or suppliers).

I had a chat, he didn't contribute a huge amount but I told him all about what was going on in my life and where I was working and just rambled on for a few minutes before saying I had to dash but it would be great to catch up again at some point.

Got back to the office, ate my butty, did some work. About 2 o'clock suddenly realised he was Mick off Brookside and not someone I knew. I'd recognised him, he'd obviously clocked that recognition hence the acknowledgement of it.

I was absolutely mortified. He must've wondered what in the hell was going on when some mad woman was telling him her bloody life story and wanted to catch up again.

Honestly, that was in the late 90s and I'm still embarrassed about it. Poor Mick.

Sorry for delay I was doing lunch

Genre would have to be action tearjerky thriller,

Broken pretty much the left side of my body, three marriages for me & a second wife who tried to kill me a few times, a kid surviving the big C (with bits missing) but now living with a big ? over their head. H now having long term medical issues too.

I suppose if you combined ER, a Hitchcock film & the last five minutes of an episode of Little House on the Praire it’ll be something close to where we are now

Lots of different things :

Cheesy - knowing that i've made someone smile or made a difference to their day. Recognition of a job well done. My pooch being the happiest creature in the world to see me when i've been out.

More self-centredly - knowing that i'm important to someone that's important to me. That feeling of 'yeah,I look good today'.

That's funny but reality is he was probably glad of having someone talk to him "normally" and not treat him as "Mick off Brookside" - I've chatted to various minor celebs over time and they're all most comfortable and open when they're treated as a person and not "that person off the telly"

Ideal world: latte, no sugar. Working in a variety of construction sites over the years I have learned to drink it however it arrives, with or without milk, with or without sugar, instant, filter, espresso, I will honestly drink it all.

Are you in my inbox?

Honestly. How are you? Grand ta, you? Great ta, let's meet.

I do have some beautiful, eloquent, fascinating conversations going on that draw me in and thrill me no small amount though, so it all balances.

Hmmmm.... Hard to pick just one?!

... snogged A and been more present and hoped that he chose life

... have said yes to the £100k, been less concerned with people's opinions of me, packed my suitcase and taken life one day at a time

...Been more body and life confident and sought out like minded people

... Said no to the mortgage, got a less demanding job and chosen to be a professional Domme

Of course i would then not be the version of me that i currently am.. Could be worse, could be better... Will never know what shoulda, woulda coulda x

Depends on my mood and what I need. If I'm tense and anxious I will bake or swim or dance, if I'm alone or bored I will read. If I'm lucky I will have sex.

Appletiser. I am allergic to preservatives in soft drinks, and this is the only one I have found that has significant taste and no preservatives.

H’s would be Event Horizon, Emotion I guess would be fear of the unknown/horror.

Mine is the Italian Film Life is Beautiful It runs me through all emotions & I guess it’s a bit cathartic in that sense.

Not exactly a popcorn movies though.

If we can have a happy one too it’d be The Fifth Element for its opulence sci-fi & fun.

Oh I've had loads!

My funniest and most recent -

I ended up with both wrists attached to my dress by the sequins and bracelets getting entangled and subsequently throwing my drink over a guy whilst trying to free myself

Thanks for asking me a question.

You’re the only person who has so far although I’ve asked quite a few people.

My answer would be New Zealand.

Hieronymus Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights. The detail is incredible and it's fascinating. It changes quite a lot though.

My list of holiday destinations is long and far reaching. I like adventurous, immersive experiences. I'm certainly not one for sitting on a beach.

I've promised to take my kids on safari, and I'd like to explore Borneo, but neither of those are in my plans for this year.

Apologies for the slow reply, the afternoon got hectic and I needed to think about it.

No, I'm not really feeling any happier. Every time I try to be sociable with people it turns into a night of misery for me. I don't know why it happens or how to stop it, but I do know it pisses other people off when I'm like that and it keeps closing off opportunities for me to try again.

Stockport

Difficult to pick a favourite film as I've seen and enjoyed so many from utterly different genres. But there are only a very few movies where I've gone back to the cinema a second time to watch it again within a couple of days. On that basis I think it has to be the iMax version of Watchmen. It's probably the most perfect superhero film ever made, showing how if real they would be brutal and imperfect, trying hard and failing. It has some total "wow" sequences, such as the scene with Dr Manhattan on Mars. And it was specifically made to be shown in the iMax format, the scenes composed for that aspect ratio, and camera motion minimised - keep the background still, let the actors move. (I could go on, but iMax would fill an entire new thread).

Ask me tomorrow and I'll pick an entirely different movie...
