"Any sexy recipes anyone for a crab supper ?
Fishcakes!
Hmm, would you add breadcrumbs into the mix ?
Well a trail of breadcrumbs might tempt them out. "
And could you recommend any saucy vinegar'ette to compliment them |

If you make thai crabcakes I'd go for chilli sauce myself. |

Mix cooked crab meat with a bit of Dijon mustard, cream, and chopped spring onions, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste, put into a small ramekin dish, top with grated Gruyère cheese, and bake until the cheese is melted.
Eat with crusty bread. Yum!

Hmmm, perhaps we could catch crabs together some time , and you could teach me how to treat them with the respect that they deserve , and enjoy them in such a very tastey sounding dish .. |

"linguine and crab meat is nice with a chilli and lemon olive oil dressing "
Beat me to the linguini but...
Frying pan... Toast sliced almonds... Turn heat down... Add meat, just enough to dry some of the water off... Add juice of half a lemon or lime, chilli and garlic to taste. Stir two minutes. Add double cream (or creme fraiche) Stir till hot but not bubbling.
Strain pasta... Put
back in pan on very low heat pour sauce on top.... Stir till thoroughly mixed...
Serve with black pepper/ parmesan cheese...
Some times garlic bread...
Buon appetito...;-);-) |
