Tonight i have seen one fly in front on my car so I stopped to see it it flew on to a post.
So It was amazing to me.

I must be lucky as I see them all the time. Quite often hear them in nearby trees at night |

The other night I was leaning in my front doorway smoking and I saw one fly silently across the top of the trees across from my house. Its magical. Perhaps this will be the year I finally see a real live hare up close  |

No i live in a town but there's a big area near my house that's protected. There's a huge rookery and a pair of hawks that nest and breed there, I think they're sparrowhawks. I hear owls calling at night and at dusk the little bat fellows come out and start swooping around. I grew up in London, I didn't see a wild rabbit til I was thirty. This stuff is just mind blowing to me still. |
