Grope Cunt lane (defunct) near Petticoat lane market.
Most rude names are to be found in Austria and there is a few books on this subject too. Tasty is in Orkney and Shetland.
Cut throat lane, is listed on my Garmin Sat nav, as being where the Aldi store is on the A6/Paula Radcliffe area of Bedford. |

Gropecunt Lane was a street name found in English towns and cities during the Middle Ages, believed to be a reference to the prostitution centred on those areas; it was normal practice for a medieval street name to reflect the street's function or the economic activity taking place within it. Gropecunt, the earliest known use of which is in about 1230, appears to have been derived as a compound of the words grope and cunt. Streets with that name were often in the busiest parts of medieval towns and cities, and at least one appears to have been an important |

Parkanaur - was working nights at security years ago driving from site to site, pulled over here for 40 winks one night and got a rap on the window by a copper. He said he was just checking I was ok and then he made a joke that there was a time limit for parking in this town anyway |
