"If you cut off a limb, I'd say a substantial amount. That's just for starters."
Comes down to hard you want it, how much you going to to cut down on. Limit food portions, don’t drink pop ( at all ).
Do a lot of cardio, stepper machine / row machine / cross fit |

Try and aim to lose a lb a week it would be really easy it might not seem much but over the 4 months 16lbs sounds good depending on what your current diet is and fitness you don’t want to go too drastic and cut out everything and train crazy make it enjoyable |

It's not about what you could lose but better thought of as how much could you lose healthily and sustain that loss for months and years to come.
Very fast, substantial losses are poor if the lost weight is likely to return.
You will perhaps need to live, eat and exercise differently for the rest of your life, so it's worth being prepared for your lifestyle to be different forever |

Stick to that, if the weight loss slows down you can always add more stuff in afterwards.
Diet is the main thing. "
Yea that's why I'm a fat bastard now eat way too much |

A pound per week is the "recomemded" weight loss, so a stone in 4 months is easily achieved. Realistically if you're unfit & overweight, your weight loss will be much better than that if you put the work in.

Cut your carbs and continue with football. Instead of milk chocolate eat 85% dark chocolate, replace half your bread, pasta, rice and potatoes with green leafy vegetables and drink more water, snack on nuts and don't eat crisps. |

I'd say around two stone if you commit yourself to it. If you eat healthily, limit treats and get a good amount of exercise in to your day you will see a difference.
I'm going away in July and dreading it. I've gained four stone since having my little one and I am hoping to lose it by the time my holiday comes around. If I work hard and fully commit I know I'll do it. |

Here is my serious answer Yuri ..... losing weight is easy. Losing it sensibly and keeping it off isn't.
Don't go for a massive weight loss.
Aim for 2LB a week MAX. That's 8LB a month and then some months you may lose half that.
I'd say that SAFELY you could lose 2 stone or just under in 4 months.
Yes I know people will lose a lot more a LOT more but they are the eternal yo yo dieters who go up and down losing muscle each time until they just sit in flabsville.
Slow and steady.
Just cut out choc and snacks for the first month and walk for an hour every day and do some muscle building at night. ( no equipment needed , bean cans in a bag will do ) |

You can do it!! Good luck to you anyway. It's all about finding healthy food and exercise that you actually enjoy. I'd recommend buying a recipe book, something like Pinch Of Nom or The Hairy Dieters. It will give you some meal ideas that are good for you and full of flavour. |

Been looking into getting a pinch of nom, is it full of good recipes? So many books have a couple I use and that's it and then I clutter my kitchen with books |

I actually haven't got it as I have around 100 cookbooks already so I'm not allowing myself to buy any more until I use the ones I have more
I've had a quick look through my aunties Pinch of Nom and the recipes do look pretty good and simple enough. I've heard so many amazing things about it though and that it's worth the money. I'll probably buy it at some stage. |

Take time to lose weight so that healthy eat and exercise become an established life style that you can maintain. Losing weight quickly is often followed by putting it back on just as quick.
Aim to lose about 1/4 stone in 4 months. Good luck. |
