Crunches will build your abs but you won't see them till you burn the layer of fat covering them, and crunches won't do that. It's all about diet and the kind of training that makes your body burn fat, HIIT will do it |

OP,
Either your picture is fake, or you are fishing for compliments?
Your picture looks like you are the kind of man that has consistently exercised his core with a variety of core strengtheners, whilst indulging in a high protein diet.

90% diet 10% exercise. The diet is the key. Beer and bread will end all realistic chanches of getting a flat belly. No snacking on sweet stuff.
Apart from that adding vigorous sex will melt away a few inches

Not looking for compliments at all. That was mid november last year. All i do is run and try to watch what i eat and drink. I have never used a gym in my life so the question was based around what I can do at home as I had read crunches don't actually work. |

Not literally though " mentally. I’m gonna have to appeal to a niche market of ladies who like jelly-wobble-flab-flab tums. |

Bread and dairy products are the worst. Anything that adds to the fat over whatever ab muscles you have. Crunches will build muscle but not reduce fat so concentrate on reducing the fat content in your food whilst working out abs consistently.
As another posted the answer is blood sweat and tears or rather diet, sweat and sore muscles |

Oh ok - sorry. Then what everyone else is saying.
You can't out train a bad diet. I work on lowering carbs, increasing protein but everyone is different.

This is kind of it.
Crunches are good for static tone building, but you need to lose the subcutaneous fat. That's down to the simple formula of
calories burnt calories gained.
Doesn't matter on your diet per se, so long as it's fairly balanced, and you do fat-mobilising exercises.

Crunches don’t really do that much it’s true. Try planking and kettlebell exercises |

Regardless of what you read or what any one says you can not target the fat on the bottom of your belly or target any other fatty area.
Good diet and high cardio exercise.
Ab work outs don’t burn fat, they build the front abs. You probably already have them. |

It is all about the diet you have to be in a calorie deficit for few month whilst training hard the same time, usually 14x calories is a good number to go for. |

"Ok so ab exercises it is then. I'm assuming Google is my friend for that"
Work your obliques along with core stuff; that will help. Diet and cardio though, as mentioned....can’t out-train a bad diet. |
