Hello it is the last day of the year and what are your plans for tonight? We will watch the countdown with jools holland and the fire works celebrations on the tv and have a cheese board and I got the haribos ready |

I'm just chilling and watching telly!! I've been too busy over the last couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to doing nothing. I'm not a big fan of New Year anyway.
I hope you have a nice time everyone! |

Are you doing Dry January, except it’s haribos rather than alcohol that you’re giving up |

I'll be doing something similar op. My friends are out or in with their wives or girlfriends so I'll sit and have a couple of brandys, some chocolates, the google home mini will be switched off, and Jools can keep me company to ring in the new year |

I am in a hillside retreat looking down over a slightly soggy but sleepy Cornish seaside town. It is quite lovely. I shan't move from here (except to go out and get food) |

That does sound nice.
I'll be hiding in my house with loads of buffet type food, hoping nobody comes to visit. |

I’m staying in and having cocktails. My son and his girlfriend have decided it’s too expensive to go out and it’s usually a big disappointment anyway. So we’re going Tenpin bowling, having a nice meal and getting shitfaced on Doc’s cocktails |

I've been persuaded into a NYE housewarming party whilst my new house is more or less empty.
I flooded the kitchen then locked my keys in the house though and still haven't got my spare set from my sister.
It wouldn't be a Mac party without it being ridiculously off plan. |

That’ll be a great end to the night. I’m not sure if I’ll still be up by then! |

So far so good, I've discovered chicken pakora and champagne go nicely together, and nobody has bothered me yet |

"Who else is feeling the excitement? It is soon 2020 "
Nope, not feeling excited. Just another day on the calender. Although, it does mean it's only 19 days to my birthday |
