Haha, it does and it has. I've met people who were clearly a lot older than I was lead to believe
I actually prefer older though so they could have just been up front about it  |

I think they should stop using filters as well OP. I know several people whose pics are so heavily filtered that I actually didn't recognise one of them in real life when we bumped into each other.  |

I have had quite a few photos over 10 years old, usually from men purporting to be a couple, the photos rarely match the description of the supposed woman. |

Bothers us too. Plus it is a pointless endeavour with us Mr is a graphic designer and can see where images have been manipulated. |

There was one profile I looked at and a pic had been uploaded over 10 years ago, they had also reloaded it this year so it looked like a recent photo (but they’d forgotten to delete the original one!) so even if they’re recent they might not be!
One couple we met used old photos and also lied about their ages (when questioned they said everyone lies on fab!) That was an odd meet I’m still not sure who they were trying to kid ! |

We keep some older ones on simply because we like them and won't get the opportunity to recreate them.
But we do add new ones every now and then too.
Though we get frustrated when we see people who only have pictures taken 7 or 8 years ago. |

I know that fab puts a date when the picture is uploaded, unless theres a date stamp elsewhere on the picture how would you know if it was an old picture ,(deleted say) and uploaded again today?
Some of my pictures head shot and a couple of others are less than 6 months others are older |

My oldest is from September 2018, I keep the old ones generally because I like them and I don't think I look that different (except maybe more tattooed). Though I'm always uploading new ones, so people can see what I look like now and decide for themselves if they want to meet, but there wouldn't be any surprises. |

Especially when it's Snapchat filters with animal ears on or loads of butterflies around them, should be charged under the trade descriptions act some of them  |

I use that as a sign to block tbh.
Non of my pics are filtered and I don't have face pics over two years old

At first I did not notice dates on the pics really but actively check it now. It is surprising how many pics are up from 2013/14 especially with no new ones since |
